GI BILL and VA Benefits FAQ's

What are the requisites for using the GI Bill for flight training with Accessible Aviation:  To use the MGIB you must already have a private pilot license. 

What courses will the GI Bill pay for:  The VA will pay for the Instrument and Commercial License.  You must be concurrently enrolled in the Instrument and Commercial courses or have an Instrument Rating to enroll in the Commercial Pilot License course.

Can I get credit for previous training;  Yes, you may receive credit for a certain number of hours per course.  This will reduce your Part 141 training requirments.

What medical certificate do I need to enroll Part 141and receive VA Benefits?:  The VA requires the student have a FAA Class I medical to enroll in the ATP program.  To enroll in the Instrument or Commercial programs the VA requires you to have a current FAA Class II medical.
